Depending on the event you are organizing, you may want some extra materials that you can hand out to those who will be attending. Below are numerous resources that are available to you or your group for the  Global Write-a-thon 2005.

Learn why letters can make a difference, tips for effective letter writing, get suggestions for writer's block, reference how you can best send your appeals, and more in this 12-page guide.

Write-a-thon Poster - plain (PDF)
Write-a-thon Poster - formatted for events (PDF)
Print out this catchy ‘poster’ on colorful paper, add some color yourself (if you print in black & white), and fill in the information for when and where your Write-a-thon event will be held. Display the poster at your local cafe or school.

Letter Writing Guide for Kids! (PDF)
Do you have young children who will be attending your event? Print out the Children’s Edition actions (available for select actions on the Write-a-thon Action page), which are written in simple, age-appropriate language, and download this useful 12-page letter writing guide for children.
